Riko Suzuhara (鈴原りこ) is a 30-year-old gravure idol who is also apparently a certified and practicing caregiver.
She could use those nursing skills to intimate effect in the bedroom, no doubt. Just imagine what she could do with those firm hands of hers!
A little later than most gradols, Suzuhara has got a decent boost to her career with the release of her debut photo book, coming out on September 1 from Kodansha. (She didn’t make her gravure debut until age 26.)
As a promo, Weekly Gendai recently published some preview images showcasing the photo book, which is an ambitious nude shoot that lets us enjoy her beautifully shaped breasts and cute nipples. The previews have a classic bathhouse theme, where we can imagine taking a trip to a hot spring with Suzuhara on her day off work.
Digging a little deeper, Suzuhara is actually no stranger to stripping off and has essentially gone nude before — albeit with patches over her nipples or carefully placed hands. Her image DVDs (she’s released 10 so far!) include some very provocative scenes, such as male hands prodding her (nude with patches) breasts and buttocks to make them sway.

Gradols with “current” (genyaku) careers sometimes feel like publicity stunts that leave us more curious than titillated. Is she really a weather forecaster? Is she really a student at that famous college? What do her employers/peers think of these photos? What are work meetings like after she releases a photo book? Presuming it’s not just a marketing gimmick, Suzuhara does at least have a regular job to fall back on in between photo shoots — or should her burgeoning gravure career dry up in her thirties.
