We are gradually working our way through the new Japanese Netflix drama Fishbowl Wives.
Kyoko Hasegawa’s sex scenes are nice but frustratingly not-quite-nude (that should be a new category for Japanese TV).
There are also similar sex scenes with Saori Seto and Wakana Matsumoto that are hot yet not actually nude.
Still, feast and famine: the incredible breasts-groping and nipples-sucking sex scenes by Juri Kawasaki have more than made up for any other disappointment.
When the trailer for the adultery-themed drama was first released, we were excited about the hint that former gravure idol Shizuka Nakamura would try to boost her acting career by committing to a nude sex scene.
Finally watching the actual scene in question, the results are mixed. It is a sex scene. She is nude. But you don’t see so much.
Still, long-term fans of the ex-gradol (now 33) are in for a treat.
In the second episode, Shizuka Nakamura is shown having sex with a male partner in a love hotel. He kisses her body while she lies down on the bed with just a bra on. Then she sits on top and takes her bra off. We don’t get to see her breasts but she lies down on top of her lover, showing a great shot of her naked body from the side. The man then has sex with her in the missionary position, Shizuka writhing in pleasure underneath his thrusting body.
