We already blogged about Juri Kawasaki’s amazing nude sex scenes in the new Netflix Japanese drama Fishbowl Wives.
Kawasaki is a much lesser-known actor (at the moment), which makes her and her agency more willing to do such scenes. We originally speculated that the big names in the series like Kyoko Hasegawa and Ryoko Shinohara would not do nude scenes in the adultery-themed drama. We were half right, it seems.
Fishbowl Wives does feature a nude sex scene with Kyoko Hasegawa, herself recently divorced.
It’s not anywhere near as explicit as Juri Kawasaki’s breasts-baring/sucking scenes, but is still a delight to behold for long-term fans of Hasegawa like ourselves.
The 43-year-old is shown having sex in the shower/bath in episode one. It’s quite a sensual scene, the couple having sex while standing up in the tub against a window with the Tokyo cityscape in the backdrop.
Though there’s plenty of nude bodies on display, showing off Hasegawa’s slim figure, viewers are denied an actual glimpse at her breasts/nipples. Everything is shot and edited so that their bodies are constantly interlocked too tight to see anything — a surely intentional decision by the makers. The best you get is a bit of a look at her butt when she turns around.
